In late 2008 Pastor Barry began feeling the call to raise up a ministry in Belize after visiting there on a vacation. Once he returned from vacation he began seeking the Lord for confirmation of the mission that was quickly growing in his heart. That confirmation came partially through HPC's then Associate Pastors, Johnny and Roma Powell. They had been feeling that God would like for them to start a mission work in an area where the people did not have access to the teachings that we have been so blessed to receive. By May of 2009 Pastors Johnny and Roma had taken the reigns of HPCBelize and had moved to Belmopan to start a local church body.

Now with more than 60 people attending, HPCBelize has become a community leader body, with weekly devotionals at the local school, joining the other churches in the area for a community Men's conference, hosting American mission teams in their home, and hosting Encounter Weekend Retreats seeing many broken lives restored and a new passion for Christ born in the people of Belize.

We are currently in need of a new, larger building so that HPCB can continue to grow. The Apostolic mission that Pastors Barry and Tammy, as well as, Pastors Johnny and Roma have in their hearts is to see the influence of Jesus Christ and His followers begin to shape the future of this impoverished area. God is moving in miraculous ways in Belmopan and across the country of Belize. Would you consider giving to help see this mission continue in 2012?
